A little late, but congratulations to Lee Unkrich and the entire Toy Story 3 team for their Oscar win this past Sunday.
And another hearty congrats goes to Shawn Tan, Andrew Ruhemann and their crew in taking home the Animated Short Film Oscar for their film "The Lost Thing."
If you can, I highly recommend seeing this, as well as the other nominated, shorts. The design was amazing with a touching story. People might complain that the animation is stiff, but I feel it goes well with the whole visual style. Last weekend, more than 20 of us from our studio descended upon the local theater, and we just about took up the whole studio. It's always so much fun seeing animation with animation people :D
Also, a heart felt congratulations and thanks to all the nominees for creating such wonder and entertainment. Your efforts and talents to welcome us in and lose ourselves your world for a few minutes or hours is greatly appreciated.
