This is my first time actually bidding a job - usually I have a producer friend do it for me, but I am on m own for this one.
A new client wants about a minute of "mostly" After Effects animation (I'm drawing and scanning all the elements in) with lots of lip sync and some very limited character animation per music video (about 23 total).
They want me to quote the project rather than hourly..I have no idea. My rate is usually $100/hr. I am going to leave room for 3 revisions, and make a contract that goes over that...but any other advice, guys? I'm a tad nervous.
