WB Animation Scholarship

Thought this might be of interest to all the aspiring animators out there. WB has created a scholarship in honor of Bill Hanna and Joseph Barbera to a graduating high school senior enrolling in a college, university or trade school to study animation. The scholarship pays $10,000 annually and offers four paid summer internships at WB Animation.

This is a great opportunity. It would be nice to develop something like this for people already attending college or who want to pursue graduate studies.

Hmmmm, would anyone know of good resources for private scholarships for graduate animation studies?

All i can say is: i would also love to hear an answer to this one.

I have recently been told that once enrolled; the ani college (or some) have grant 'pools' funded by various benefactors (like studios for example), which students can apply for and recieve financial aid awards from. This person also told me that this is the only typa grant for animation students out there, which i'm hoping can't be true. Then again, she had had actual expereince in college studying animation, so uh-oh...

It seems to be a tough question if there is any answers on it (other than 'no there isn't'!)
