I require a quote for a ‘basic’ flash animation to tell a story in a ‘tongue-in-cheek’ cartoon style storyboard.
It’s a flash intro for a website. The client is in area of finance, trying to cash in on his Scottish roots
He would like a flash intro on his website that tells the story of the Scottish Thistle, and how it became the National Flower of Scotland.
Here is the client’s idea of story board:
SCENE
Highlands of Scotland, 1286
Thistle growing
Norseman’s (Viking) big bare foot standing on it
(Reminds me of the Monty Python foot!)
Norseman - “Aaaarrrrgh!”
Scotsman (in kilt) – Rouse, rouse! We’re being attacked!
Scotsmen run towards the approaching Norsemen
They stop at the flower
Scottish Chief – “This flower saved our lives. From this day henceforth it shall be known as ‘The Flower of Scotland’”
Scottish Soldier – “Sirrr! Don’t you think we should attack the buggers?”
Scottish Chief – “Aye, yer right! Away lads”
Scotsmen – “Scotland forever!”
Sounds of battle.
Bagpipes playing Amazing Grace or For Auld Lang Syne or some other crap.

With this being an intro for a website, I don’t want to go too elaborate with it. I came up with something already, but to be honest its crap. I can forward to you later on.
