Greetings, time for me to put some stuff I've made on this forum.

A couple of gags I've written (not drawn):

Translation: One of you must bring back the ring to Mordor

I just made the music for it. It's not quiet final, but it gives you a rough idea... I hope :P

Yeh

Yeh, people call my home language 'baby dutch' cuz it's kind of a dialect which started 200years ago when the dutch settlers came to South Africa....Funny think I'm second generation South African, with grand parents from France and Ireland respectively, and my home language is Afrikaans! hahaha!

Anyway, keep up the good work!

oh are the dutchmen taking over the place (please not)

dan kan ik men engels ni bijschaven ;)

Don't worry Benny, Phreak is speaking South African, it's a language very similar to Dutch, that's because it has evolved out of it.

Just like Dutch (Nederlands/Diets) evolved from German (Deutsch) and English

(for the handyness, I'm gonna name the languages in the name as they are in the language when spoken)

English, Deutsch and Nederlands are all descendends of the German language family.

Roman, Keltic and German languages are all evolved from Italo-Keltic-languages.

The tak of German languages evolved in 3 subdivisions:
- The North-german languages
- The West-german languagues
- The East german languages (completely distinct)

English is a straight descent of this West-german language.
Deutsch and Nederlands aren't.

Deutsch came from "Hoogduits".
Just like "Luxemburgs" & "Jiddisch"

Nederlands came from "Nederduits", which evolved to:
"Nederfrankisch", "Nedersaksisch" & "Oostnederduits"
This all evolved in different kinds of dialects.
And for having some kind of union, they evolved "Nederfrankish" to "Nederlands" (this because of geochraphical reasons)

it's been a while since my last post,
but I've been lurking the forum from the shadows ;)

An animation I made today:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abxdBIZ9ecI

I went to look at the beginning of the thread and most of the links are dead. I liked the camel horse.

The 3D spheres are very different to the rest of your work. What programme are you using for them?

I'll check the links tomorrow (it's 4:30 in the morning at this side of the computer), thanks for noticing.

I use Lightwave for 3D, it's the program we use in school.

in the mean time, here are some drawings I made for school, for the course "development of style"
we had to pick a sketch/doodle from our sketchbooks and work it out and create a family/group around it.
