Anyone a fan of this great anime? In many aspects it was the original mech anime, and the first OVA series in anime in general. Very interesting series, I think the animation is really stunning, and seemed ahead of its time. I heard it was just released in the united states finally with proper subtitles, i'll be looking for that in the coming weeks. fans of fullmetal alchemist, akira, paltabor, gundam...etc should really check it out
Great show... good parody of Mech stuff but also a great piece of Sci-fi in its own right. Really feels closer to the spirit of 50's hard sci-fi fiction than the Hollywood idea of SF.
I find the ending really moving! ;_;
the recent Gunbuster 2 (aka Diebuster) is pretty amazing too...
