Library of Congress - Historical Animation

I've never had a formal class in animation history, but always have wanted one...I came across this last night and it blew my mind what they were doing...there are glimpses of great timing, great solid drawing, etc...starting from way back then...really exploring animation for the sake of it, it seems.

So as not to be redundant I did a search for Library of Congress and it didn't turn up anything, sorry if this is rehash...

There are a ton. I just got through about 5 and a half but already I'm hooked.

This is the website the Library of congress put up with them listed by title.

Thanks! I've just been going down the list but it's nice that it comes in an explained package as well.
