So if you have the time and money, take some classes. If you are not sure you wont to dive into animation then buy a book and read up on the subject.
Well I was an illustrator and graduated from College with a BFA in illustration but really wanted to be an animator. So I am now going to school to get my MFA in animation.
More schooling always helps especially to get feedback from other professionals and other students, and possibly getting job connections that way.
