This summer I had the chance to meet and take a class with Bojan Redzic, a very accomplished and talented cartoonist who has been living in Toronto for several years now.
I was quite surprised to find out Bojan had actually had 4 graphic novels of his work published in Serbia and that he was very prolific in contributing to European, Japanese and South American magazines of comic strips. I honestly and quite ashamedly had never heard of him!
It is this lack of exposure in North America that prompted me to put together a webpage to feature his artwork and encourage other comics fans to enjoy it and if inspired to take a class with him. You can take a look at: http://bojanredzic.blogspot.com/ .
Starting the week of October 10th Bojan will be teaching “Perspective for the Comic Book Artist” and “Fundamentals of Caricature and Cartooning” in 8 week workshops. For more info please check out:
