Dry Animation Run

Hi everyone,

I recently got the news of the prospective job interview for a 3D animation company, but also learned that all applicants, in addition to an interview and reel review, also have to do a "dry animation run". I assume this is kind of like a test where they give you a rigged model and tell you what they want to animate it to do, and you have a set amount of time to complete the animation. Is this assumption correct, and does anyone have any tips on the best way to help prepare for something like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
