I've been researching 3d animation programs with some help from a friend and both of us are interested in these two programs for cel-shaded animation. I'm hoping to get some more opinions about the software so can determine if this is the program for me. What do you animators think of this combination?
Carrara's a good entry-level package for the hobbyist. Don't know anything about the other one...
Toon!Pro is a plug-in for Carrara made by Digital Carvers Guild. Basically, it's an advanced cel-shader, but the reselts I've seen are fantastic.
No one else has an opinion on this combination?
