Well, the site and its owner have been in the twilight zone for a while now, anyone looking at the forums over there can see.
IMO, the place should just drop the pretenses and be its owner's blog, given how it operates.
He pays the bills.....he can do what he wants, I guess.

remind us again of how boring that other website is.
A.N. seems to have little to do with animation these days.
King Charles the 1st is always on about his triumphs and is constantly spewing his holier-than-thou opinions.
He has no clothes and with every passing day his wee website seems to have little to do
with the realities and interests of the industry and the art of animation.
Mr. Davis may be correct in a way as bringing up the other site gives it more
relevance then it deserves.
I must run there is a special on hot turkey sandwiches at the "Spot".

You are correct about AN, but me thinks you spend too much time
tracking the antics of naked Queen Charlie.
He is too busy with his "Reelin and Rockin" thread to be bothered with any
important animation discussions.
The Academy must be floundering as well as he seems to be
immersed in everything that's not important to the art, business and reality
of animation.
It seems like many of the pros once on his site have vanished to more interesting and relevant animation sites.

yes, his recent "discovery" of youtube is hilarious (along with his bizarre music history lessons with each posting)
