Hey guys, just go the animators survival kit and am LOVING it. it is the perfect book to start learning the basics. However i am now looking for a book that has fundementals and techniques for drawing characters. For example drawing specific parts of the body like eyes, hands, feet hair etc. so more of a drawing techniques book than animating. thanks for any input!
Best bet is to enroll in a figure drawing class at your local junior college or art society. That said, I like Christopher Hart's "Human Anatomy Made Amazingly Easy". Amazingly Easy is a relative term of course, but I think his approach is more animator friendly than many of the fine art books.
