HEY can anyone tell me the links to download free rigged models in max i need to practice my animation as rigging would take life time for mae plz help me guys would really appreciate it
p.s. i have tried 3dtotal website bt the rigs r not working fine some probs with locating maps and missil dll files

Hey guys.
Just wanted to let you know that you can also use this rig http://www.3dluvr.com/clisk3d/freerigg/Max_v03.rar
It's the same rig I use for my animations. not quite complete and some things need to be re-done to speed things up, but it's still very functional. Don't bother merging a copy of it in the same scene, that will break some facial stuff and Ik/FK snap buttons since those are all name dependant scripts.

Max has its own thing called Bi-ped.
All you really need to do is add some controls on the feet and center of mass and it works pretty good.
