Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi, everyone! Happy Valentine's Day. I just finished this clip in honor of the occasion :) . I know it's short notice, but if any of you have Valentine's Day animations, feel free to post them here too!

Here's the link to the clip (I appologize for the low frame rate):

village.computerclubhouse.org/clubhouse/Members/pooryorik/US-09060/Files/HappyVday.swf

that was awesome poory. Somebody else complimented the black character entering and holding the door, and i just want to as well.

Must, see, more!

Thanks for contributing everyone! The animations are magnifique, and your comments are very encouraging.

Finally got to see it. Pretty cool, but hey why not do you backgrounds in vector too?http://www.tco.net/~phacker/scooter/amore.html

Phacker, sorry the clip took so long to load. Actually, the swf file is really just a flash file with a video of the finished animation embedded in it. (This was because the clips had been assembled in a different program). To be quite honest, I have no idea how to embed an animation in an html (let alone post a url link!). I'll mess around with it and see if I can figure it out. Thanks for the heads up.

This clip is actually part of a shortfilm I'm animating called "The New Kid." Sven, (the short guy) is buying chocolates for the new girl on the block. If you want to see more stuff from the film, I've got a thread in the Show and Tell section about it. (I usually add something about once a week).

Thank-you for the invite, Biopix, I'll be sure to check out Powerglove's challenge.

Thanks again for contributing,
Pooryorik

To post a url just include the http info with your site information. If you want you can try using the little globe with the chain at the top of the message box.

To embed your swfs in a html, just choose the publish settings in Flash and click html. You can fine tune it with the size and alignment settings under the html tab, that pops up when you select it. When you go to upload your files, you'll find a html file of the same name as your swf, just upload both into the same directory. Then instead of linking to the swf, you link to the html.

Valentine Cartoon

Not animated, but it's all I've got and I want to share it.

AWN's own version of Broke Back Mountain, only it's a sheep and sheepdog...go figure. Nice work Ted.

An emerging hangup?

I just realized that my Valentine's cartoon last year also had dog on sheep action. It's one for my therapist, I guess:

You did some really nice work there.

Yeh, alot of nice touches; the camera angles, the way that black character holds the door open, the music. WHat happens next?

Did I show this one last year?:

How big is your file Pooryorik? You need to imbed your swf in a html or least tell us poor folks (on dialup) how big it is. The way you listed it, it's not even a url, so I can't right click and download it to find out. I've been waiting for five minutes now.

Finally got to see it. Pretty cool, but hey why not do you backgrounds in vector too? That would make the file size a little smaller. I hope she's worth it. Whoever it is that ends up getting the giant candy box.

Here's my contribution to the valentine fare. It's an old one that I did a few years back, but since the Olympics are Italy, I thought it the best choice.
