suddenly in the shower today i remembered this discussion that completely slipped my mind.
one of the points brought up at Animation India was that Canada and France support a lot of local animation and the work is quite good. However (and these are not my words) the work is seen maybe once or twice locally and almost rarely travels well.
my point is i guess it isnt meant to travel ....
what are your thoughts? could someone from memory list a few shows they know were made on govt subsidies and mabe we can see if the above theory is correct/
