Maya tutorials?

I'm downloading the student version of Maya and am wondering if anyone can recommend some good tutorials.
Thanks!
Spoooze!

Two good places to check out. They aren't necessarily beginner tutorials, but they might help suppliment whatever beginning materials you've already accumulated.

I usually search at http://forums.cgsociety.org/

You can also try http://www.learning-maya.com/ or just Google for whichever technique you want to learn;
e.g., "maya tutorial blend shape face" or whatever.

Enroll in Animation Mentor.com, that's the best way that I've found to learn character animation with Maya.

I am looking at a CD from lynda.com and I am very happy with it. They have a very large list of products that they have made tutorials for.

www.learningmaya.com for general tutorials.

Also if you can't afford animation mentor and want some execellent 3d character animation instruction... www.keithlango.com has a video tutorial service he offers for a mere 15 dollars a month! Quite frankly the information he gives is a lot better then most animation classes at a college. I highly recomend it.
