Intense Animation Studio is conducting Master Classes in Advanced Particle Techniques with Kevin Mennens.
This 2-day “hands-on” master classes will teach the advanced use of Maya particles, expressions, shaders and MEL scripting.
Course contents include:
Introduction to particle attributes, expressions and MEL
Liquids and surface tension - Using goals and utility nodes
Ripples in a pond - Combining shaders and particle collisions
A paintable flow system - Using sprites and paint effects
This course is being conducted by Kevin Mennens, who is one of the foremost experts in Maya Particles and Dynamics.Kevin, a Belgian native was previously an application engineer for Alias in Europe and is an Alias certified instructor. Kevin has trained Alias clients such as Moving Picture Company,Double Negative, Framestore-CFC, Cinesite and many more. Kevin is currently the
CG supervisor at Oriental Post in Thailand, completing the effects work on two feature films.
