k heres my problem, say i want my "superhero" to just simply fly from the top of screen to the bottom, instead of making a frame by frame approach, i use "tweening" correct? theres a problem though....... the only way to motion tween is to convert the person to an symbol.... but once hes at the bottom of the screen now i cant make his mouth move or anything cuz hes a damn symbol, wut do i do about this,,,, its really been frusturating me

I haven't flashed in a while, and I guarantee this isn't the correct way to go about it or how it ever gets done, but in the interest of getting the anim done in a file-size friendly way, why not have the mouth be independent and simply follow the same paths as the hero? That controls its locations but you still get to do whatever to it. All the "turning on and off" for each separate mouth shape layer still applies, it's just less cohesive.

It touches upon nested symbols (symbols within symbols) and the need for and uses of instances which is what you need to look into to answer your Q.
Wow Graphite, how did I miss that topic? I guess I don't go to the educators forum all that much.
Yeah, it's called "nesting" Gabe. You can make your super hero a symbol and set him to play once. Then go inside that symbol and make a layer for you audio clip, you mouth layer, and what ever else you want to move. You can then lipsync the mouth inside that superhero symbol and it'll play when you watch it from the main stage. Just make sure the super hero is at play once from frame 1 and you should be fine.
Or you can just break your superhero apart on the frame after he reaches the bottom.
