Flash books in Spanish??

Hey folks.

I'm aware that the people on this forum hail from around this big blue marble (Hah! remember that show?), so I'm hoping someone has a clue here.

I was working with a youngster in my class today trying to get him to understand the Flash project we're doing. He took the notes pretty well, but even this late in the year there's still a big language barrier. I wish I had a book about Flash in Spanish to help him along, and to help me find more vocabulary to work with him.

Mind, I've taken a semester of Spanish, as well as a few immersion workshops for teachers, but it never sticks unless I'm using it. At the last school I worked at I had a neat video production studio and a tech manual for our audio mixer that was in spanish, french, and english. I learned how to explain how to use it in spanish.

The alternative is obvious: use my ol' dictionary and work it out. I'm just hoping someone has a lead that can help kids like this who show up in my class each year without any real support for the language problem.

Here's to a healthy start - I don't envy the task in front of you. I found major publications in four languages, but none of them were Spanish. You'd think if they felt Spanish editions of the -software- were important enough to create, that authors would push out books of that same vein.

You rule, sir. :D

I've never had much luck finding technical books in spanish. I've only looked a few times, but nothing much comes up and I wonder about my search process. I agree--some of the spanish stations have a variety of good programming that gets good market share, and I wonder how the heck those guys learn. Probably in English, I guess...
