Hello.
Come the Fall I will be teaching at SCAD's Lacoste campus in France.
The courses in animation include:
Animated Expeditions - an ON LOCATION concept art class which will explore with different mediums the French countryside and the village of Lacoste.
Layout and Character Design - the nuts and bolts of both topics from character design and structure to focal points, perspective, and tone -all with a decidedly French twist.
Drawing in Motion - Life drawing using animation principles as I learned from Ward Kimball at Art Center.
The term goes like this:
4 weeks of classes
4 days in Paris - at the Lourve. and visiting animation studios
1 week off
4 weeks of classes.
The student/teacher ratio is low...so we have meals together, travel together- do animation together. It will be so cool!
Thanks.
Larry

I reeeeeally want to take animation classes in Lacoste.... unfortunately I've already taken all of those classes. :( oh well..... it's savannah again for me.
I can't think of anything cooler than teaching/learning animation in France. Whoa. Très bien!
Are there any preqs or is the program all self-contained?
that sounds wonderful, Larry! How can someone get into those classes? (or was this just one very stupid question?)
