ok... i'm thinking about getting a couple 'training' dvds.... can anyone tell me if they have been helped by them....and what's the better way to go... digital tutors or gnomon????
I have taken classes in 3d modeling/animation, but want to freshen up on my skills and possibly learn some new techniques..
The guy sat Gnomon just rock. I've known most of them for a long time. The problem with their DVDs are that they are overpriced for what you get. I personally think if you really want to learn you need to find the best books, read them, enroll in some classes (gnomon is a good school and getting better). Then finally, practice, practice, practice. the only way you really learn is by doing, and watching videos isn't necessarily doing, you'll forget most of what you watch, but you remember most of what you DO.
