SCAD had a visit the other day - 2 HR folks and a director from Toy Story 3.
They are setting up a new studio in Glendale which will initially do nothing but make 3D sequels from the Pixar/Disney partnership (only without Pixar).
They are to 3D what the Sidney is to 2D....the sequel biz.

Disney makes me sad now. I couldn't believe it when HR said they were opening a studio that will only make sequels. Disney HR needs to hire some new story people so they can create more original films, rather than making stupid sequels. I dont blame the animators turning down the directors position. I'd turn it down too, lol. The HR people also told us about their future movies. Only one of them seems appealing, and thats simply because the characters are so cute.
Anyway, the quality of Disney movies is taking a nose dive in my opinion.
