Which school to attend in the UK/Ireland?

What's the best and most reputable school for 3D computer animation in the UK and Ireland? I live in Norway, but because of the lack of decent schools within this area, I want/need to go study abroad. I wish to get a Bachelor if that's any help in recommending a school/university/college.

Anyone that has experince with any good schools in the UK/Ireland?

Hum!

Hello.

There's a school in Bournemouth- which is the best in 3D in England
It is the National school - something like NCCA.

In Ireland check out Ballyfermot School of Further and Higher Learning
or Dunlaighoire (dun leary) School of Art and Design.

Thanks.

If your more on the experimental/traditional (although they also do 3d) side you could try the Edinburgh College of Art and Design http://www.eca.ac.uk/

Im at Southampton Institute and I know that makes me bias but I would REALLY recommend the course, its very broad in how it approaches animation, with the main emphasis on life/observation drawing and timing (in animation).

In the second year you specialize in either 2D,3D or stop-motion/puppet animation. The first year you work all 2D and lots of drawing!! You also study acting and do location work, have animals in from the zoo to draw,go to Annecy, animation history and tons more. Southampton is also a really nice place to live, I come from Nottingham and am impressed!
