acting and dailouge

Hey guys. I am thinking about making short bits of animation for the visual aid for my FYE project. I wanted to know if when your character has dailouge do you animate the character's body/acting and then go back and put in the mouth movements, or do you animate the mouth at the same time as the acting?

I'm assuming you are talking 3D...

I've always tried to get the body to read and then used the facial animation as icing on the cake. People are going to read the body first so you might as well start there but this is not to say that there are times where the face makes the pose so it's done as the body is done.

Then when you do the face get a camera and position it right in front of the face and parent it to the head joint and use that and your render cam to do the face stuff.

Have fun.
