Super Duper Help Needed...Confused Person Over Here *Points To Myself*

Here's my situation. I am in community college right now. I took a couple of animation courses in high school and loved it. Somewhere along the way Ive been brainwashed by my parents that "computer science is the way to go...its the future" and started leaning towards that side. Ive been taking GE courses (no art) to get into computer science but then realized that I hate it and I love to draw. So im pretty much done with my GE and ready to move into the animation field and have no clue on what to do next. I have no portfolio and already spent 2 years in community doing GE courses. I seriously need help on what to do and where to go. Ive been doing some research on schools. I need your opinion, tell me if this sounds like a good program:
