Created in 1998, Forum Brasil is Latin America's leading TV programming trade show. Representatives from more than 20 countries use the forum as a marketplace to find great products, share experiences, get new information, analyze local markets, and engage in profitable business networking.

Forum Brazil features: * International seminar with top-tier names in programming and production * 30-minute sessions with channel executives from Brazil and other countries detailing their acquisition policies * Pitching of animation, documentary, series and feature projects

Free Entry. $2,000 in cash prizes will be awarded on April 24, 2008 to college students from Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia, and Maryland. This year there will also be a High School Entry. Flash animations will be accepted in the following categories: Comedy, Drama, Resume, Professional Website, Experimental, Artistic Installation, Advertisement, Flash Video, Interactive Game, Educational, High School Entry.

Women In Film Chicago hosts this breakfast discussion focusing on the implications of sexual imagery in media and advertising. What effect do advertisements have on women as consumers and how is society being shaped as a result? Who defines what is beautiful and how is this reflected in the world of film and advertising?

The Online Game Development Conference (OGDC) will be held at the luxurious Seattle Waterfront Marriott Hotel in the beautiful waterfront district, from May 13 to May 15, 2008. A welcome reception for early arrivals, which was one of the most popular networking opportunities during OGDC 2007, is scheduled for the evening of May 12th.

The International Festival of Animated Films AniFest has announced the format for the competition of the festival's 7th edition, which will be held May 7-13, 2008 in Trebon, Southern Bohemia. Those who participated in the festival in recent years will notice some minor changes in both the structure and the names of the competition categories. Also new to the festival is a non-competition presentation of Czech, Slovak and Austrian films with active participation by the authors. This will take place under the title "CAS Presentation" as part of ProfiForum.
