CHS Otaku Fest is a one day anime convention held at Centennial High School (4300 Centennial Lane) in Ellicott City, Maryland. Its designed to be a gathering ,celebration and promotion (for fans, by fans) of all thing related to Japanese animation, manga, and East Asian culture. The event will go from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on April 24, 2010. The International Animation Film Festival will take place in Annecy (Haute-Savoie, France) from Monday 7 to Saturday 12 June 2010.

On a parallel, the Mifa will be held from Wednesday 9 to Friday 11 June 2010.
