Twins Are Weird present
Join Noelle Melody and Joy Vaccese for an international program featuring a diverse selection of art. The films themes range from the hermetic world of bullfighting, reinvented and reinterpreted to a stop motion sculpture of twenty-one large triangles animated in Melbourne, Australia’s Federation Square to a home made girl’s journey around the world with her dog as they collect their new but still perfect selves. All films are expressions the individual vision of the artist, but their common thread is they are all uniquely beautiful.

In its third year as a stand-alone festival, the UTS: Sydney International Animation Festival returns to the University of Technology, Sydney from 23 to 26 September 2011.
Showcasing the latest highlights of world animation, this year’s festival also marks an increased focus on the ideas, craft and processes behind animated filmmaking, with an engaging program of expert panels, discussions and student workshops, along with the annual SIXTY40 Proto-Ninja Prize & Blue Egg Audience Choice Award.
Get Animated! serves up some of Canada’s finest (and funniest!) NFB animation. Enjoy screening programs, workshops and Q&As with animation directors.From boldly experimental to flat-out funny, there’s something for everyone!

The Hollywood Film Festival will run from October 20 to 24 at the state-of-the-art ArcLight Cinemas, in Hollywood.

Each year the Sundance Film Festival selects 200 films for exhibition from more than 9,000 submissions. More than 50,000 people attend screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Sundance, Utah. In addition to discovering filmmaking's newest talent through the Festival's program of documentary, dramatic, and short films, Festivalgoers experience live music performances, panel discussions with leading filmmakers and industry figures, cutting-edge media installations, parties celebrating the Festival community, and more.

Born out of rejection, Slamdance showcases new and emerging independent artists, filmmakers and storytellers. We welcome films in every genre, on any topic from every country around the world. The festival program is selected from 100% blind submissions and we do not disqualify any films based on premiere status or date of completion.
