Twins Are Weird present

Join Noelle Melody and Joy Vaccese for an international program featuring a diverse selection of art.  The films themes range from the hermetic world of bullfighting, reinvented and reinterpreted to a stop motion sculpture of twenty-one large triangles animated in Melbourne, Australia’s Federation Square to a home made girl’s journey around the world with her dog as they collect their new but still perfect selves.  All films are expressions the individual vision of the artist, but their common thread is they are all uniquely beautiful.

UTS: Sydney International Animation Festival 2011

In its third year as a stand-alone festival, the UTS: Sydney International Animation Festival returns to the University of Technology, Sydney from 23 to 26 September 2011.

Showcasing the latest highlights of world animation, this year’s festival also marks an increased focus on the ideas, craft and processes behind animated filmmaking, with an engaging program of expert panels, discussions and student workshops, along with the annual SIXTY40 Proto-Ninja Prize & Blue Egg Audience Choice Award.

Kristiansand Int'l Children's Film Festival 2012

We are now accepting entries for our 15th edition, which will run from 24 - 28 April 2012. KICFF is looking for high quality shorts, long shorts, features and documentaries to be screened in our main section and numerous side bars of Norway's largest festival for films for children and youth. A Night with Bill Plympton at the Big Screen Plaza!

Begins: August 22, 2011

Please join us Monday, August 22nd at 7PM for an outdoor screening of the works of Bill Plympton, past and present. 

Bill will be debuting a summer-themed short, "Summer Bummer", as well as a new music video for Weird Al Yankovic!  Following the shorts with his classic feature, "The Tune".

The Hollywood Film Festival 2011

The Hollywood Film Festival will run from October 20 to 24 at the state-of-the-art ArcLight Cinemas, in Hollywood.

The Festival will be capped off by the annual prestigious Hollywood Awards Gala ceremony on October 24, which lauds both annual and career achievements of Hollywood's emerging and established talents and launches the awards season.
