Bitfilm Collection 03 Screening in Tokyo

On Friday, February 27, Bitfilm will present its new Bitfilm Collection 03 in Tokyo. Following successful cinema screenings of the first two Bitfilm Collections in Berlin and Barcelona, this new compilation of outstanding digital animations will be shown to the public in Japan first. By March 3 the Collection 03 will be available online as download-to-own in DVD quality.

At the Super Deluxe Club in Tokyo all three Bitfilm Collections will be screened. Doors will open at 7 p.m., the screenings will start at 8 p.m. The entry fee is 1000 Yen.

Waltz with Bashir Art Director to Speak Feb. 23

David Polonsky, the art director of the acclaimed Oscar-nominated animated feature WALTZ WITH BASHIR, will talk and show clips from the film at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23 at Santa Monica College's Academy of Entertainment & Technology.

His talk will kick off SMC's spring entertainment industry speakers series, called the Mary Pickford Series, which features a wide range of speakers representing virtually all aspects of the business.

This two-hour event, which always draws an international standing-room-only crowd, will also feature a brief clip from each of the nominated films.
