Haunted Mansion Attraction to Display VFX, Makeup, Sets, Costumes

Moviegoers attending the special engagement of Disney's THE HAUNTED MANSION at Hollywood's historic El Capitan Theatre (Nov. 26, 2003 through Jan. 4, 2004) will have the opportunity to explore a rare behind-the-scenes attraction about the making of the movie. "The Haunted Mansion - Hollywood" features the actual sets, costumes and vfx designed and built by the film's Academy Award-winning team of artists at Sony Imageworks.

IFP/Chicago will be holding the 12th Annual Independent Filmmakers Conference, a weekend-long event featuring panels and seminars about timely and important independent filmmaking topics presented by renowned filmmakers. A major conference highlight, IFP/Chicago's Production Fund, an in-kind donation of equipment and services valued at $85,000, is considered the biggest grant for independent filmmakers in the Midwest.

MIFF-Milan International Film Festival

Again this year, MIFF will merge Milanese fashion, the movie business and Italian night-life. Last year the audience increased 100% from MIFF 2001. The 2002 best film prize was given to SHOWBOY, which subsequently was purchased by Regent Entertainment and will be released in North America September 2003.
