The SosemArt Cultural Association is organizing its third Szemletek Visionaudial Filmreview and Art meeting. The film competition accepts all films under 30 minutes. There will be two parts of the film competition -- one centered on the theme "ambush" and the second open to all films. The event is also holding a screenplay contest, which has a synopsis deadline of Sept. 7. Fifteen writers will be chosen by the jury to submit their entire scripts. RomeFilmFest 2007

The second edition of CINEMA. Festa Internazionale di Roma - RomeFilmFest will be held at the Rome Auditorium, with additional screenings at movie theatres and events held in spots that symbolize the city, from the Via Veneto to Piazza del Popolo, from Cinecitta to "Greater Rome." The Business Street will run Oct. 18-21, one day more than in 2006. The first edition drew 447 participants, of whom approximately 250 were buyers who attended 130 screenings.

Hollywood Film Festival 2007

The Hollywood Film Festival is comprised of 10 separate film festivals, including the Hollywood Animation Film Festival. The event was created to bridge the gap between established Hollywood and the global creative community, as well as to honor excellence in the art of filmmaking.

The Hollywood Animation Film Festival is a competitive film festival. Its mandate is to highlight both domestic and international animated films and to make sure that filmmakers get visibility in Hollywood's backyard. Selected animated films compete in the Festival's main competition.
