The Garden State Film Festival was founded to promote the art of filmmaking on all levels by providing a wide variety of film, video and animated works, as well as to provide educational programs in the creative arts to the public by industry leaders.

Founded in August 1961, WorldFest is the 3rd oldest competitive International film festival in North America. The International Festival of Cinema and Technology will be continuing its touring festival in Toronto March 2003. The tour premiered in London and Paris in December 2002.
