Courage Comes To Latin America

COURAGE THE COWARDLY DOG has joined Cartoon Network Latin America's line up. The series chronicles the life of a terribly timid dog named Courage who must regularly defend his owners, an old couple living on a farm outside the small town of Nowhere, from paranormal elements that threaten their simple existence. Based on the character from the 1996 Academy Award-nominated cartoon short THE CHICKEN FROM OUTER SPACE, created by John R. Dilworth, COURAGE THE COWARDLY DOG is the seventh Cartoon Network Original to make an exclusive appearance in Latin America.

Oscar Shorts Screening

* Friday, April 14, 2000. Beverly Hills, California, U.S.A. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences will be screening the 10 animated and live-action Oscar nominated short films. The animated films, including Academy winner THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA, will kick off the "Shorts!" presentation at 7:30 pm. Oui Oui To MIP TV!

MIP TV is the premiere television conference and market in the world. The six-day event brings together production companies and distributors from all over the globe.
