SXSW Film Festival and Conference,

now nine years old, will present a festival schedule over nine nights largely devoted to independent productions as well as works from established directors who have inspired the latest generation of filmmakers. The conference portion of SXSW Film has been described as a five-day crash course on guerilla filmmaking and marketing. Hosted by indie film professionals, the panel discussions, workshops, and mentor sessions will explore every facet of the do-it-yourself feature from pre-production to marketing.
