AWN affiliates Glenn Vilppu and Larry Lauria will be leading sketching and painting workshops in the Tuscany and Umbria regions of Italy in the summer of 2007.
Vilppu's workshop SKETCH AND PAINT ON LOCATION runs from May 28, to June 8, 2007. The workshop is a watercolor and sketching tour of Bagno Vignoni, Florence and Tuscany, Italy.
Vilppu is considered one of today's foremost draftsman and instructors in drawing and painting. Few contemporary artists have thoroughly absorbed the lessons of the great masters of the past and in addition, none have Glenn's ability to communicate and inspire students with such knowledge and understanding.

Lauria's workshop, a painting and drawing trip of the Medieval Hill towns of Umbria and Tuscany includes Lucca, Pisa Florence and Labro. Lauria's tour runs from June 11 - June 22, 2007.
