The State of Russian Animation

Russian animator Alex "Sasha" Segal will be speaking on the state of Russian animation, the business climate for animation in the former Soviet Union and his software of choice, Maya. After Sasha's talk and video presentation, the floor will be opened up for questions. This two-hour seminar is sponsored by Colleagues International, The Kalamazoo Valley Museum and the Kalamazoo Animation Festival International. The event will be held at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum: Interactive Learning Hall from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and is free to the public.
