Star Trek: The Exhibition in Pennsylvania

"Star Trek: The Exhibition" made its East Coast debut Saturday, May 16 in the Mandell Center at The Franklin and run through September 20. The 12,500 square foot interactive exhibition contains the world's most comprehensive collection of authentic STAR TREK ships, costumes and props from over 40 years of STAR TREK.

Beginning Saturday, May 16 through June 18, and only at The Franklin, fans will have the opportunity to see both the Exhibition as well as the hit feature film, "STAR TREK: The IMAX Experience." The Exhibition will include authentic costumes and props from the newly released Star Trek feature film including the Enterprise uniforms of Spock, Pike, Scotty, Chekov, Uhura, McCoy, Sulu and Nero -- Kirk's black shirt -- as well as the actual phasers, communicators and tricorders used in the filming of the movie.

Produced by Premier Exhibitions, Inc. and licensed from CBS Consumer Products, "Star Trek: The Exhibition" enables visitors to connect with iconic Star Trek moments and characters while celebrating the creative spirit of science fiction that gave rise to many of today's modern marvels. The Exhibition fully immerses visitors in the legendary television and movie adventures that have become synonymous with innovation and ingenuity. Quantum teleportation, distances and speed in space travel, inertia, rocket propulsion, relativity, technology and astronomy are just a few of the scientific principles and theories demonstrated throughout the Exhibition.

"Star Trek: The Exhibition" celebrates creativity, imagination and courage. Every Star Trek series is replete with exploration and explorers -- men and women who go beyond fear and perceived boundaries to find and connect with new worlds. But for every Kirk, there is an Armstrong; for every Scotty, there is an Einstein; for every Janeway, there is a Pasteur. The Exhibition brings Star Trek's characters to life and reminds us of the real life scientists and explorers in our midst.
