The most successful film in the history of Japanese cinema comes to the El Capitan Theatre in a newly dubbed version supervised by Pixar's John Lasseter (director of A Bug's Life, Toy Story and Toy Story 2). Directed by Hayao Miyazaki, SPIRITED AWAY follows the fanciful adventures of a little girl named Chihiro who discovers a secret world when she and her family get lost. When her parents undergo a mysterious transformation, Chihiro must fend for herself as she encounters strange spirits who seek to prevent her from returning to the human world. The film will be digitally projected for the special engagement at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, from September 20th - October 10th. An exclusive Miyazaki art exhibit, including concept art and storyboards from many of Miyazaki's films, will be displayed at the theatre during the run of the film.
