Scheduled for August 17 – August 28, the online event will include both on-demand presentations and scheduled sessions, an exciting mix of the high-level cutting-edge research and education, as well as experiential content and events.
SIGGRAPH 2020, the premiere conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques, is one of a growing list of animation, VFX, and gaming-related events to cancel or otherwise postpone their 2020 editions due to the COVID-19 pandemic; they are pivoting to online editions, with the hopes of bringing some degree of continuity, community, and collaboration in lieu of a physical gathering.
Beginning August 17, SIGGRAPH 2020, will make on-demand content available, allowing exploration, learning, and the opportunity for participants to review presentations in advance of interactive sessions with contributors beginning August 24. Additionally, from August 24-28, the program will include other various “can’t miss” scheduled sessions. For the convenience of participants, on-demand content will be available for viewing through October 27.
