Sheila Graber Animated

As part of the AnimEX festival Sheila Graber will be talking about her life and career on Wed 30th Jan at 7pm Cinema, University of Teesside. The University of Teesside & Middlesbrough Council are proud to present a enw piece of work by North East Animator Sheila Graber. 'Lifelines' is Sheila's film created during her year as the University of Teesside's & Middlesbrough Council's Animator in Residence, and charts a personal , local journey which links up with global energies. Shiela will also present work in progress by young people who make up Club Hype, an animation group for under 16yrs based at the University, in addition a piece of work by Andrew Liddell, Assistant Animator in Residence will also be shown.

Sheila's talk will be illustrated using her own work from 1970 to the present day, to who how early animation experiementation is important in helping the artist find a voice and style of expression.
