Aiming to become the most original and advanced digital media showcase in Asia, Seoul Net Festival (SeNef) 2002 calls for submissions to its online competition category "Digital Express Online" to be presented July 3 through August 3.
Since its inception in 2000, SeNef has been continuously recognized not only by the general public, but also by various renowned international film festivals such as EMAF (European Media Art Festival), La FiFi, and Prix-Ars Electronica. SeNef's mission statement is to examine the ever-changing possibility of digital media and introduce innovative works by both established and aspiring artists around the globe.
All genres are acceptable (narrative/non-narrative, experimental, documentary, film, flash animation, web art, interactive, etc.) and production must have been completed after January 1, 2001. Entrants may submit more than one work if wish.
Submission requirements: 1) work(s) copied on VHS (NTSC) / CD-Rom / DVD-Rom for preview; if selected, additional request will be made accordingly.2) a complete entry form (download at www.senef.net)3) any type of press release or promotion material of submission (i.e. magazine clippings) if available.
