Poe's classic story of Judgment, condemnation & redemption. Directed by animation veteran Marc Lougee (director/ animation, MTV's CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH, DINOSAPIEN, WHAT IT"S LIKE BEING ALONE), and Executive Produced by the legendary animation & visual effects pioneer Ray Harryhausen, THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM has won awards and screened ion over 170 film festivals around the world. The DVD boasts the film in 5.1 surround sound, widescreen, with nearly 2 hours of behind the scenes interviews with the crew.
Director Marc Lougee will be releasing the DVD August 22 at the PIT AND THE PENDULUM booth, in Rue Morgue's Festival of Fear, part of COmic Expo 2008.
