Ottawa International Animation Festival 2023

Scheduled for September 20–24, OIAF features screenings, virtual artist talks, workshops, and meetings with schools and recruiters; taking place during the festival TAC offers industry professionals a chance to connect.

First held in 1976, the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is North America’s oldest and largest animation festival and features some of the world’s most quirky, provocative, and inspiring animation. The event hosts a multitude of animation events including screenings, exhibits, workshops and entertainment. OIAF is an annual five-day event bringing art and industry together in a vibrant hub.  The event is scheduled to run September 20-24, 2023.

Also running during OIAF is The Animation Conference (TAC) taking place this year September 20-22. The event returns to Ottawa’s famous Château Laurier and offers attendees a chance to reconnect with industry contacts and establish new relationships with the producers, broadcasters, artists, executives, and buyers in attendance. In addition, TAC will once again include its signature pitching events, Fast Track and Pitch THIS!, as well as exciting spotlights and panel presentations.

Visit the OIAF website for more information. Additional information about TAC is available here.
