MIPCOM 2008

MIPCOM is the global content event for co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment content across all platforms. It provides the key decision-makers in the TV, film, digital and audiovisual content, production and distribution industry with the only market conference and networking forum to discover future trends and trade content rights on a global level.

This year's keynote speakers include former Disney CEO Michael Eisner.

Chad Hurley, co-founder and CEO of YouTube, will open MIPCOM's first Broadband Video Summit with a keynote speech. The Broadband Video Summit will take place on Wednesday October 15 at the 24th edition of MIPCOM, October 13-17, 2008, Palais des Festivals, Cannes.

The new Broadband Video Summit is part of the MIPCOM 2008 conference program. It will provide a venue for the newest and hottest Internet TV platforms, media owners and cross-platform content creators to talk about the business models, the rights and the creativity needed to reach the desired audiences.
