Again this year, MIFF will merge Milanese fashion, the movie business and Italian night-life. Last year the audience increased 100% from MIFF 2001. The 2002 best film prize was given to SHOWBOY, which subsequently was purchased by Regent Entertainment and will be released in North America September 2003. Now in its 4th year, MIFF 2003 is the premier international film festival in Milan, capturing the cultural diversity of the world of filmmaking and provides filmmakers with an avenue of exposure to the film community. Through International Features and Shorts competition and other special screenings, MIFF brings movies to audiences, press, buyers and distribution companies.
