Great Animation and Storytelling Seminar

Great Animation and Storytelling will use specific examples from games, films and television production, Gordon and Wellins will discuss animation fundamentals and principles, animation directing, the basics of performance staging, blocking and storytelling, editing for emotion, and classic character animation.

Taught by Andrew Gordon, Pixar animator, and Mike Wellins, an award-winning former director from Will Vinton Studios.

Location and Availability Oregon3D's "Great Animation and Storytelling" seminar will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (followed by a Q&A period) on Saturday, March 8 in Hall C, Ballroom C1 at Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California. Though the class is free of charge, registration upon arrival is required. Oregon3D encourages attendees to arrive a few minutes early, as seating is limited.
