Future Film Festival

Future Film Festival is a major Italian event dedicated to animation & special effects. The festival offers extensive retrospectives of international animation, premieres of major animation & special effects films, new television series and experimental shorts. In 2001, over 22,000 people attended the Future Film Festival, including 300 journalists and 400 accredited professionals and academics. The festival welcomed international guests from leading effects companies such as PDI, ILM, Pixar, Duboi and Buf Compagnie, animators Osvaldo Cavandoli and Bruno Bozzetto, and more international animation & special effects directors, artistic directors and creative designers.
