This is the seventh year Empire State Film Festival will bring the latest and greatest works from around the world to enthusiastic audiences in New York State. We show at The Egg at Empire State Plaza (www.theegg.org), an amazing 900-seat theater in New York's capital city of Albany, followed by an extensive tour throughout the state. Students and emerging filmmakers are highly encouraged to enter.
We show Narrative, Animation, Documentary and Experimental films and videos, features and shorts. Formats: 35mm, 16mm, BetaSP, VHS, SVHS and DVD**

We can also mail you an application if you prefer (just send your street address to empirefilm@aol.com). This is a competitive film festival. There are fees to apply. Students receive $5 discount. Submissions received through withoutabox.com take another $5 off. Submissions received before May 10th take another $5 off. We are not-for-profit 501(c)(3) arts organization funded in part with a grant from New York State Council for the Arts.
