Detroit Windsor International Film Festival

On June 26-29, 2008, the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival (DWIFF) celebrates our love for the movies- and our passion for the art of film.

The DWIFF shines a light on our great community of 4 million Canadians and Americans who share a river, an international border and our love for film!

After 100 years, the movie industry is evolving, with new tools and new ideas. We feel the Detroit style has much to offer and a film festival is a great way to show the world what we have to offer the world filmmakers.

Along with some great films, the DWIFF presents a educational program that focuses on the art of film and those who work "behind the camera". Workshops, demos and discussions will showcase the new digital cinema tools used in the film, video and entertainment industries.

Rounding out the event are numerous social events and VIP parties, with great Detroit music as our score!

Plan to submit a film, or just come and party with us here where the arts are on the move!
